I followed this guide and found how to mark myself as someone who can be claimed on a tax return ^
But I still need to mark how much I received in support.
A few days earlier in the tax software, I came across this screen:
When I logged off on this screen for the day and came back the next, the software placed me on the next page of the form rather than returning me to where I left off. I tried to go back but it wouldn't allow this. I'm not sure how to get back to it.
I'm currently at the end of my form where I'm able to file, which changes (and limits) the interface from what it was when I first started the form.

Hi @withheldUX - this question isn't available on the federal return. Can you verify that this was related to a Michigan state tax return? If so, this question should be found in the section about the homestead property tax credit. If not, please let me know what state so I can help you!
Please clarify your question.

Yep, I'm filing my own tax return. I'm a dependent and I'll get claimed on someone's tax return. I want to add support received since it might provide me or the person claiming me as a dependent with a tax credit.
The link is to a support guide on how to indicate that the current filer can be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return:
I've been looking for the option to enter additional funds received as a dependent but haven't had luck so far. I'm using TurboTax Deluxe 2024 on Windows.

Thank you so much! It was for the State Tax form. I found it by navigating to Edit on State Taxes > Credits and taxes > Homestead Property Tax Credits > Received cash or merchandise or had expenses paid on your behalf by others.
