Called today (2/23) and talked to a representative. They said someone JUST submitted a ticket on this and they haven't started working on it. He said to check back next week and guessed that a week should be plenty of time for them to fix it now that a ticket is actually in the system. Wondering why it took so long for a ticket to get in though.
I submitted a ticket for PA on 2/24 and they said it should be fixed by the end of the month (2/28) - just tried it and no luck. (STATE for PA Schedule D - even though on the forms tracker shows as available.

PA, can't file cause this same problem.
I'm using the online version of premier. I've finished doing my taxes, but Turbotax won't transmit them to the IRS. It says there is a new version of my version of Turbotax and I should go to the online menu and update.
Again, I'm using the online version, so there is no update available.
Any suggestions?

First try clearing cache on your web browser - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/troubleshooting/help/how-to-clear-your-cache/00/26135
If that does not solve the problem then change your web browser to either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge
Your info sound like what I need. I cannot find the ONLINE tab at the top. What page is it on>
I need to do the updates. How?
not sure why they call it the online menu. In the mac do the following. Open the program go to expand the screen all the way. (as opposed to view other icons in the screen)
Now click next to the apple where it says Turbo Tax
The apple, turbo tax file edit View (this is the top line in the screen)
Click on turbo tax
Check for updates.
If you have several applications on your app folder deleted the old ones keep only the new ones look at the dates in the info.
Hope this helps!
not sure why they call it the online menu. It's the top menu
it says turbo tax, file edit view history is at the very top of the screen. click on turbo tax and then click on updates
This advice is only for a Mac Computer
I finished my taxes and tried to e-mail them. The program won't send them and tells me to go to the on line menu and select "check for updates". How to I get to the on line menu?
I have this problem, too. Also from Wisconsin. TurboTax always has trouble with Wis. forms. I'm about to give up on TT.
I received the message I can't file email until I update. How do I do that
@edthomp31 Are you using the CD/download? Go up to the tool bar on the top left of your screen and start clicking around. You should see a command to check for updates. If you are on a Mac, it will be the one next to the "apple" under TurboTax.
That suggestion should work. What I did was to shut TT down and then restart it. When you do that, it checks for updates.
login to your turbotax, on the upper (way on the top) left hand side look for Turbotax, and click on turbo tax, the drop down menu would show a lift of links. One of the links (third one down the drop down menu) is check for updates. Click on the link and you will be directed to update and install. Takes a while to download and implement the update. This step fixed my date failed validation issue during efile. Good luck.
