When will schedule D and form 8949 for 2020 be available?

The Schedule D is on IRS.gov, so why is it not on Turbo Tax? Need the schedule to determine tax on large unexpected capital gains received on Dec 30. Need to figure tax in order to file an estimated tax on Jan. 15th.

The IRS instructions for Schedule D and Form 8949 are still for tax year 2019.  Until the IRS finalizes the instructions for tax year 2020 TurboTax cannot provide a Schedule D or Form 8949 in the software for filing.

I have the downloaded 2020 Premier version of the software and form 8949 does not appear as an available form.  The list in the link that shows forms and dates of availability shows this form as being available.  Previously, the link had this available on 1/14/21, which is now past.  Is there a problem with updating the software or is the form still not available.

The Form 8949, Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets, is available and will be included in your tax return if you enter an investment sale in the Investment Income section under Wages & Income.  The Form 8949 is populated by the software from the investment sale information on Schedule D.

As of 2/8/2021, even though it states that Form 8949 as as well form 8960 are available, the fact is that they are not. Every time I update my software these forms still indicate that they are not ready to be used.  FIX IT PLEASE. INTUIT.

We take your concern very seriously and wish to help address this. This issue has been escalated to our Research and Development and they are working on a solution.

I signed up for an email to notify me when the forms were ready.  It came on 02/06/21.  I started my TurboTax Business 2020 and did the required update.  It still shows that the forms are not ready for filing.  When will this get addressed?

As of 18 Feb 2021, Schedule D still does not automatically add and connect Form 8949 when attempting to record a long term sale on line 10, for Box F checked (or anywhere else, that I can find).

It looks like a programming error, because none of the ways used in TurboTax to Add Form 8949 results in an screen with an Add Form button does nothing; only the Cancel button works.  

Nor does Add form on the menu at the screen top allow Form 8949 to be added. Using version 2020 Home & Business. 

Is anyone else still experiencing this problem?

I solved my problem adding 8949; it appears that you add form 8949 in the step-by-step process, rather than from Form D.
