Need to know how to file the gift tax form if I use the on line electronic turbo tax submission?? Do I mail the form separately??? Thanks, Jim

Money that you receive as a gift is not taxable income to you, and you do not need to report it on your income tax return. Money that you gave as a gift to someone else is not deductible for your taxes.
Turbo Tax does not support the gift tax form 709, but here is a link:

If you gifted someone over $15,000 in 2021 then you have to report the gift using IRS From 709.
TurboTax does not support Form 709. It is not filed with a federal tax return, it has to be completed, signed, dated and mailed to the IRS on or before April 18, 2022 if you are not filing a Federal Extension Request.
Go to this IRS website for the Form 709 and Instructions - https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-709
turbo tax will not advance beyond direct deposit
Which version of TurboTax are you using? @kra41
ok it shows that for state im recieveing 1707 and that i owe state 527 but when i look at my documents on the form to mail in the 527 is says refund due back is 0 im confused am i getting 1707 or not watis that amount about
@michelle3467 If you owe the state $527 then the refund amount would be zero.
Ok but the 1707 am I getting that are not
You don't get both a refund and have tax due on the same return. If it says you owe $527 to your state, then you aren't getting any refund from your state.
Is the $1707 your federal refund? Are you filing more than one state?
@ michelle3467
You may be looking at a TurboTax summary screen that adds Federal and state refund (or tax due) info together to arrive at a net figure. If that's what you are looking at, that screen has been a source of confusion to filers for several years, and we have complained about it for some time.
You should be able to tell from your actual printed returns. Also look at the Filing Instructions pages. There are pages in the PDF called "Filing Instructions." There should be a Filing Instructions page for the Federal return and one for the state return. The Federal Filing Instructions should show the amount of any Federal refund (or tax due) and the other one should show the amount of any State refund (or tax due.)
Misplaced my LPL Financial 1099 forgot to include in my recent taxes. is it required?
If you received a 1099, it is required you report your income and or earnings (to include investments) when filing your taxes. In order to correct the issue of leaving off your 1099, you can file an amendment after your submitted return has been processed by the IRS. See this FAQ on How to amend a return.
I filed my tax in April. no tax return and it oct. I need to talk to someone now.
