Amazing. TurboTax actually updated the download link to R18dot1 , which i call R18 because all of these patches are dot one there are no dot zero releases. Maybe dot zero is the beta iteration before public release. Still odd.

I have updated my software and can now see form 8814. However still cannot enter bank acct no and routing into. I have a federal refund and completed review am at file but software never asks me how I want to receive refund. Preview does not show banking information in instruction page as it has in prior years. Bank info is x'd out on actual form.
Turbo Tax will only display the bank information for direct deposit if you are filing by mail. Otherwise, for security purposes, the account information will show X's on the Form 1040. The bank information will be e-filed with your return.

Yes. My bank information was uploaded from my investment company and I can see it, but TT does not show it on the 1040 or the instructions as to how the refund will be routed. In past years TT shows the bank routing on the instruction page.
I'm getting the error and Firefox effect after latest TT H&B update. It won't let me proceed to the Review step. I've done at least one other TT update successfully prior to yesterday. I downloaded the 189MB TT installer same result.

Starting with the R.19.1 version, I am no longer able to update my software. I have disabled all security products on my computer (including windows defender) and I have also closed all my browser windows. This is extremely frustrating.
The update function does not seem to work. The program says I need to update. I click and give permission to update. Then the update screen comes up with a place for a bar to move across the box, but no bar appears. Then after a time when I check the information in the pull down menu says I need to update. What to do? Does one reinstall the program?

If that does not resolve the issue, please try doing a manual update of your software.
Already tried these options including the manual update route. Same result. I had done previous software updates the week prior with no problems. It's last week's update has disabled TT and won't let me move to next steps. A patch is needed.
