Yeah, that preview doesn't work either. Going backwards TurboTax. Not good.
@SSayre Try this
I don't see any running status. I went all the way to the payment page but didn't want to submit it as I still have a few small tax write-offs to enter. I can see my old forms back to 2012 but 2025 is locked and keeps taking me back to the payment page. It's quite a frustrating experience this year and thinking of shopping competitors or going back to paper.
Yep, it is frustrating. Not sure the reason why TurboTax would do this. I would prefer to stay with them but getting rid of this feature makes me want to look around some (which I hadn't planned on doing).
And from what I hear, H&R Block software has now made it extremely easy to switch over to them and copy all of your information from TT. I'm considering it.
UX designer here, yep this is offensively bad design.
no actually it doesn't. can you please post a real solution?

congrats Intuit. you lost a 20 year customer because of this "feature"
Thank You!
what sign? This is what we're all trying to explain to you people, there is nothing up top to click on!
Same - very frustrating. Do we now have to pay before we can see what is owed?!?!?
Thank you so much! You saved me hours of research that I spent last year trying to accomplish this same thing (but never wrote it down so forgot). I will save TurboTax for Dummies notes for subsequent years.
@steiny1227. Who are you thanking? What suggestion?
Sorry, I hit reply to a specific post, not sure what happened. Someone suggested to go through the Federal Review all the way to the end (even if you aren’t finished with your taxes yet) and the ticker will come back. Then exit out of that and the ticker will remain which it did for me.
i also have found that paying TT for your taxes now (even before you are ready to file) allows you to download a fully populated 1040 with all subsequent forms which allows you to better troubleshoot as you enter new data and the ticker doesn’t move in the way you thought it would.
