TurboTax 2024

 I just ordered TurboTax2024 from Amazon.  I cannot get to the activation page. All I get is an error message when I try to open TT that tells me there was an error and TurboTax needs to close. I have tried every type of troubleshooting recommended and it doesn't say TT 2024 is not compatible.  Now what?  I can’t find any type of help from Intuit or TurboTax.  I purchased TurboTax Deluxe and have used TT products for years.

I've already been there and tried all of that and the some other things. That's why I'm here seeking help? I'm not the only person with this exact same issue. It's not my PC.

Discovered the problem after installing TT on my wifes Windows 11 Home PC. During the install it wanted to install a C++ file and everything went fine with the install and activation. Even though I'm running Windows 11 Pro and supposedly all up to date, I went to MS and downloaded the latest C++ and then tried running TT again, it worked! No errors, signed in, and activated without a hitch. Something you should pass on to others, make sure all you MS C++ redistributables are up to date.
