I am having the same issue today February 04, 2022. Someone from Turbotax needs to fix this issue.
I got in the same loop. Got past it by clicking "Wages & Income" > "Walk me through everything" > "Next income section". That moved me onto Retirement Plans and Social Security.
Good luck!
I have the same issue looping from "Incentive Stock Option" back up to "Here's all the investment accounts we have so far".
It should be a simple software quality test to step through these options!
Same loop here. The link that was posted for the known glitch is marked SOLVED - but of course it's not really.
I'm having the same Exact Loop Problem
Can't even back out using the Back button. Turbotax has a Bug....please fix ASAP......

See this TurboTax support FAQ for this bug and sign up for updates - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/income/help/why-am-i-stuck-in-a-loop-in-the-investment-income-sect...
You can get out of loop by clicking on any of the links at the top of the screen, ie Wages & Income
Thanks. I did the TurboTax support FAQ, got a confirmation - will inform within 7 days.
Not to be sarcastic, but a software/program should not run into an infinite loop. It speaks about the quality.
Same is happening with me

If there was a thumbs-down icon, I'd click it for your snarky response.
The user is identifying a technical problem (which I've also experienced), not only in the investment section but others where Turbotax simply repeats the same questions over and over. The only way to end the loop is to abandon the entire questionnaire.
I've used Turbotax for DECADES. I've never experienced software irritations like this before with this product.
Agreed, as this is the only solution I've found.
This will be the first time in years I will be giving TurboTax a mediocre 3-start rating.
I am stuck in this loop. No program should to into a loop like this. I used to be a programmer. This is very poor programming. How do I fix it? This should have been detected if a through test of the software was conducted before release. Now I wonder what the accuracy of your software is.
We need a fix, not to links that don't solve the problem.
I am in the same situation. I'm sure that if I bail out of Turbo Tax and restart it, I'll be happily on my way (I haven't tried it yet). However, in my situation I had a sale of vacation property so that's why I was in this area.
I am at page "Capital Loss Carryover Summary " press Continue...
now at page "Did you receive a Form 2439 for 2021?" press No...
now at page "Any Straddles or Section 1256 Contracts?" press No...
now at page "Incentive Stock Options", select "No", press Continue...
now at page "Here's all the investment accounts we have so far", press Done...
now at page "Did you have any investment losses you couldn't claim in 2020?", press No...
and back to "Capital Loss Carryover Summary"
OK, it wasn't a big year for trading (its all done in the IRA so it doesn't show up). Other than this sale, so far I had entered a single 1099-INT, a single 1099-DIV, and a single 1099-MISC. Nothing peculiar about any of those 3.
I'm now going to try to exist TurboTax and skip over this section. Firstly to see if it saves it, and secondly to see if there is a work-around. I'll reply back.
So, yes you can click on the Wages and Income and get out of the loop. However, the data is wrong. It has recorded both the capital loss that I have in 2021 (that gets carried over to 2022), and as a capital loss being carried over from 2020. The first line of "Investment Income", "Stock, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other" is the 2021 capital loss (Update goes to "Here's all the investment accounts we have so far", and Done from that gets back to "Wages & Income"). The second line of "Investment Income", "Capital Loss Carryover" shows the same capital loss, but clicking on update goes to "Did you have investment losses you couldn't claim in 2020?" and then "No" on that screen brings you to "Capital Loss Carryover Summary" which is showing a loss being carried over from 2020, which is incorrect. Again, it doesn't get into a loop at this point, but the tax return is now incorrect. Screenshots below.
