The IRS has not yet finalized the Form 8995 instructions for tax year 2020. Not until the Form and Instructions have been finalized by the IRS will TurboTax be able to incorporate the form into the software.
Form 8995 is estimated to be available on 02/04/2021 (subject to change)

I think Turbo Tax is hiding some internal issues and blaming it on the IRS?
I dunno but this could cost me about 2000 bucks if my ex claims my kid first.
This is bull.
The IRS changes the release dates of forms. There is no guarantee that the release dates given will remain the same under some circumstances. We encourage you to check the Form Availability dates for changes after the projected release date has passed if it is still not allowing you to file.
