if i were you, i would just call the credit card company and dispute the payment
It's nothing new with TurboTax, they've been known for prices changes and hidden costs. In this case, there are a number of different costs stated throughout their website, confusing to say the least.
I am not so happy myself with turbo tax bc of the fact I have been waiting for my taxes and I haven't heard nothing about them. So, this was my first time with turbo tax, and my last time. I am so not happy.
To check on regular tax refund status via automated phone, call 800-829-1954. (This line has no information on Economic Impact Payments.)

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

"I encountered the same problem"
There are thirty-five posts on this thread. Which one do you have the same problem as? And get a refund for what?

A refund for what? If you are using the TurboTax Business edition installed on your personal computer, each state program is an additional charge of $54.99. You may prepare, print and e-file State returns, at an additional charge per business entity.

yup, me too! I've been a customer for over a decade, next year Turbo Tax can eat a huge bag [removed]. I can do without their **bleep**ing bull**bleep**. P.S. Turbo Tax...do you get your software from DOMINION!!!
If you need to contact Intuit turbo tax call your credit card company and ask for the phone number linked with the charge and then you can get an agent to dispute your charge. I was not able to do electronic filing and they are going to credit back my $25.00. Hope this helps
Use the free T-Tax software. Then all 50 States have free E File. You have all the information, just load it up.
To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
Use this website to contact TurboTax support for this situation:
I have always mailed hard copies and figured this year I would finally do e-file since it's free (didn't believe they charged you initially). Then, alas they want $25 to e-file the state. What gives? May be worthwhile since I am sure the actual number of humans going to the office at the IRS must be way down, so a hard copy could take forever. Just aggravating that they want to charge you for making things easier for them? Recently changed my cable provider and the new company informs me they are NOT sending out people to do the installation due to COVID and would send me an installation kit with instructions. OH, ok! Then they wanted to charge me $10 for installation!!! HUH!! Told them if they wanted me to do the switch the $10 needed to go away. Amazing. Hope all are well.
E-filing fee in desktop software
Did you purchase desktop software with state software included? They sell Deluxe both with and without state software--so you have to be careful which one you choose. And even if it does have the state software download included, that is for preparing the state. There is an extra fee to e-file the state. You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state instead of e-filing it.
Had the free state download. This was the e-file fee.
i uploaded turbo tax premier and now when i go to file they want $190. help please this not right and it said it was uploaded and in my account when i started.
