TT600 errors, including TT600, TT601, TT602, TT603, AND TT604, are typically validation errors. This means you may have entered something into your return that TurboTax cannot understand or has not been programmed to accept.

The most common example is:

• Quotation marks, ampersands and other special characters in any fields that accept text, such as your name, address, your dependant’s names, etc.

Unfortunately, the errors don’t provide much context as to where the error is. In all cases, technical support should be contacted if you encounter a TT600 error.

So, if you’re getting a TT600-series error, please call us.

Hi

I purchased Turbo Tax Home and office 2020 from Fry's Electronics and they closed down permanently. I can't locate the email they sent me with the activation code as I reinstalled it on a new computer and got rid of my old one.

What can I do to get a new code?

TurboTax customer service/support does not have a single phone number but has many different phone numbers based on the type of platform used.  So that we can direct your call to the best person/department to help you:

1. Click on this link:  https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
2. Select your TurboTax platform.  
3. Ask your question / state your problem.  Do NOT use the word "refund' or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
4. Click Submit.
5. On the next screen, choose the Call option and follow the instructions.  You will be given the approximate wait time.  

You'll get a toll-free number to a TurboTax expert who is specially-trained to handle your particular issue.
