I've been unable to claim the military discount for filing my taxes. I've verified that it is the Free or Deluxe version, and verified my info. Is there any thing else that is required to get the discount applied?

Level 15

Yes, you need to enter a military W2 and indicate that it is "Active Military Pay". After verifying you have indicated in the "My Info" section that you are active military and hold an enlisted pay grade, you should enter/verify your military W2 information in "Wages & Income."

After entering/verifying the W2 form entries, you will arrive at a page asking about "Uncommon Situations". On that page you need to select "Active Military Pay" from the list. Continue to complete the section.

Your discount will then be applied at end prior to filing your returns.

I went through and verified all of those selections again, but am still showing that it is the full amount being charged as a total.
