This is the first year my wife, with whom I file a joint return is receiving a distribution from her annuity. Turbo wants to put my name on that page. It should be her name at the top. I tried going back to see if I could change this but no luck.

If the annuity distribution is being reported to you on a Form 1099-R then you need to indicate that the form belongs to her.

This is not my year to claim my daughter, but I have child care expenses. Do I have to take her off as a dependent?
Are you the custodial parent? Do you have an agreement with the other parent to allow the other parent to claim them--due to divorce or that you live apart and share custody? Did one of you sign a Form 8332?
If there is a signed 8332 then the custodial parent retains the right to file as Head of Household, get earned income credit and the childcare credit. The non-custodial parent gets the child tax credit for children under the age of 18.
As far as the IRS is concerned, the custodial parent is the one with whom the child spent the most nights during the tax year--at least 183 nights.
The child doesn't have to be your dependent, but the child must live with you. Only the custodial parent can claim the child care credit. And to claim the credit, the person claiming the expense must have paid it. To be your qualifying child for this credit, a child must live with you for more than half the year and meet other requirements. More details are explained in the link below.
