Thanks for the heads up!
I have contributed my 2 cents to the powers that be.
KEEP ITS DEDUCTIBLE
Interesting. I posted in reply to Mesquitebean's post containing a link to send feedback to TurboTax executives. I included a copy of the email that I sent. Now my post has disappeared. Censorship by TurboTax?
l too tried to post the email address which mesquite bean provided and the post was not allowed. Hint: use the underscore mark not the word, remove all spaces, use symbol for "at" and "dot":
Office of the President Voice of the Customer Underscore Mark at intuit dot com
I just tried to print out remaining 2022 individual donations so I could attach appropriate receipts and now 2022 is nonfunctional. One may only print out the downloaded pdf files.
At this point, H&R Block, here I come to see what the alternatives are.
An American company behaving like this????? Sad.
Try going to www.intuit.com<slash>company<slash>executives - replace "<slash>" with "/".
Let's see if this one gets removed.

Perhaps you could post to this thread when you find out.
Interesting that this is the only thread on this subject in this TT forum and there are only a couple of dozen posters complaining on this matter ... could be a good hint on the low usership prompting the shut down.

I really do not think there can be any doubt about that, seriously.
Further, I firmly believe there would need to be not only thousands, but tens of thousands of complaints before Intuit would entertain reconsidering their decision.
I have to agree with several others who don't see Mint as a comparable replacement to valuing household items, clothing, etc. I already keep my own list of donations but that doesn't tell me what today's value of it should be. I'm almost positive that anything that's being donated likely no longer has its original cost attached or recalled by the donor. Although I can appreciate the business side of maintaining a program that is offered at no additional cost to the users losing its value to the company; but, there should be something we can have at a nominal cost that does the same...even if it's not attached to Turbotax. Please consider keeping it or making it available at a small nominal cost. I believe others who may not use Intuit products will still utilize if it isn't made too expensive.
A major value of ItsDeductible is the ability to seamlessly import all contributions into TurboTax. Keeping track of donations could be done with a spreadsheet and valuations could be obtained elsewhere (e.g., Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.). Entry into TurboTax would be painfully manual without ItsDeductible and no other third-party donation tracking tool would likely be supported for import by TurboTax.
I'd be interested if there is any documented import capability in TurboTax that could be used if donations were properly formatted without using ItsDeductible.
ItsDeductible is not exactly "free", since you need to upgrade to the more expensive TurboTax Deluxe or Premier to get the import capability. Discontinuing ItsDeductible removes one reason for those upgrades.
Could very well be correct
But not all business decisions should be driven by P/L. Customer service should be a factor if one is trying to build a long term loyal clientele
if a brick and mortar store no longer carries the product you want - you will vote with your feet and shop elsewhere
So, I will also be making a business decision and will likely be taking my business elsewhere if TT does not reverse or mitigate their decision
Or it could be that we’re all just tired. Maybe we realize TT really doesn’t care about customer service. Maybe we think they could at least have waited until tax year 2023.
In the middle of the tax year??? C’mon!
Not sure if you can do it throughout the year of if you have to do it when preparing your taxes but here is a link explaining DeductionPro

I visited that link a few days ago, but I am not sure the product has much utility if donations cannot be added throughout the year as they are made.
@billyd_53214 -while I appreciate there were better ways to communicate, it may not be 'in the middle of the tax year'......the discontinue date is Oct 17 which is two days after anyone who submitted an extension for their 2021 taxes must file. So if you look at it from the 2021 tax year perspective, it is at the end of tax year and not in the middle of the tax year.
just a thought....
