Logoff and try logging in and downloading using a different browser.
Taxfile download issues ... try using another browser like Chrome.
Thank you for the info- it is not my computer (my computer was serviced and all updates completed a few months after I initial filed because I was having the same issues now as then- it took me over a week and many, many hours for the filing to finally take) or the browser because I went and used someone else’s computer at their house yesterday and the same exact issue occurred.

I was able to instantly download several .taxfiles from my test returns without issue so I cannot say why you are having troubles. Check your browser (clear history) , internet connection and/or firewall settings.
Update-After 3 days and 6 hours talking and working with product support… they cannot find out what the issue is. It is a software glitch on their end and they have no idea where or if they can retrieve it.. not good as I need that tax file to amend my taxes for my Schedule D - the file I received the day I did my taxes is not what their system sent over to the IRS- system doubled my counts on my gains and losses. my next stop is to talk to someone in the audit department
