I got the message “Your configuration has been modified l (prd.ini, startup). Please reinstall”.
I’ve tried reinstalling and following the recommendations on the support page but nothing is working.

You'd need to indicate whether you are using a MAC or Windows computer, before someone could hazard a guess. Fixes are entirely OS dependent.

Make sure you are installing on your computer's main system disk...do not install on a cloud drive, or a usb-connected off-computer drive.

I got around this problem by installing Turbotax as administrator, into a directory other than the default of "C:\Program Files". I suspect pretty much any other directory will be sufficient.
