Are you looking at your 1040? If not, click on Tax Tools>>Tools>>View Tax Summary>>Preview My 1040 to see if it is actually included in your return.
i'm using turbotax for desktop (mac) so i don't have the same menu you're referring to. however, when i goto forms, it IS showing up!
There is no line on the form 1040 that is specifically for form 1099-misc ... the income gets entered in the correct section of the tax forms. Which 1099 form did you enter ?
I'm not referring to any 1040 line.
this is on the 2021 income summary page, under 1099-MISC and other common income > income from 1099-MISC ---> displaying 0 (after i enter in my 1099-misc income). i believe this is a defect/bug in the turbotax delux for desktop (mac).
So that we can better assist you, would you mind providing a screenshot of the area in the program you are experiencing this issue? Please be sure to black out any personal information before posting the screenshot as Community is a public forum. Please feel free to add additional details that may help us determine what is causing the error.
Also, you may want to make sure your TurboTax software is up-to-date. Please see this help article for instructions: How do I update my TurboTax CD/Download software program?
This is for TurboTax Deluxe for desktop on Mac. After i entered in the income for 1099-MISC, it does not display the total amount i entered. it's displaying $0 for the 2021 column. see the 2 attachments (1099-MISC Summary & 2021 Income Summary).
As you can see the 1099-MISC does appear in the 1099-MISC Summary but not the Income Summary.
Note: the software is up-to-date.
As @Critter-3 stated above, the 1099-Misc amount will show under the income category where it is taxed.
1099-Misc income could be self-employment, royalties, awards, lawsuit settlements, etc. so check those income categories to be sure it is included.
Since you have the desktop version of TurboTax, you can view the actual forms to be sure that amounts are entered correctly and flow to your Form 1040 properly.
The Summary Page is a TurboTax function, and does necessarily reflect what actually appears on your tax return forms.

This article has details on Form 1099-Misc.
i contacted intuit turbotax support. the agent remote into my desktop and confirm it's a possible bug.
the agent is logging in a support ticket for this issue and will get back to me.
The 1099-MISC is no longer self employment ... if you got one of those issued instead of the 1099-NEC then have them redo it. And as long as the forms are populating correctly what is shown on the summary screen is immaterial.
I have the exact same issue, TurboTax Deluxe, Downloaded PC version. Just an FYI in case the tech team is trying to analyze the issue.
