How can I find my agi for 2018

@Dale24u wrote:

I also need the 2018 AGI to submit my 2019 but since I didn't need to file in 2018.  When I filled out 2018 1040 line 7 showed zero.  When I use this value in 2019 my submission is rejected.  Ideas for what value to use????

If you did not file a 2018 tax return then you should enter a 0 (zero) for the 2018 AGI

If this is rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.

How can I find my agi for 2018

My 2018 so I can file my 2019. Mine kept getting rejected. I contacted the IRS they looked up my 2018 AGI and it was exactly what showed on the turbo tax form. I explained to them what was going on and they said that it was a TurboTax problem. I contacted TurboTax explain to them and they said it was an IRS problem. Either way I had to print it out and mail in both forms as the state will not let you e-file if the federal form can’t be filed. I asked for a refund as I had to pay for it before I tried sending in my state e-file and I still have not received a refund after over a month and a half. Probably won’t be using TurboTax again next year. I believe since I have used TurboTax for years and the problem is appearing now that it’s a TurboTax problem as a lot of people are having the same problem.

How can I find my agi for 2018

When I do my eFile, they ask the AGI for 2018, How can I find it?  Thanks!

How can I find my agi for 2018

You need your 2018 AGI to efile 2019. The AGI is on 2018 1040 line 7. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse How to find the AGI.

Yikes,  you were doing a 2018 return?  So you have the Desktop program?  It is only saved on your computer.  Can you get your laptop fixed or have someone access the hard drive?  If the hard drive is ok you can take it out and access it. See if they can find the file ending in .tax2018 and then install 2018 program on another computer.  Or did you make any backups?    Or you will have to start 2018 over.

Oh, if you haven't filed 2018 or filed after August then you enter 0 for the AGI to efile 2019.

The 2018 AGI is on the 2018 Federal tax return you filed Form 1040 Line 7

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on View adjusted gross income (AGI)

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

If your tax return continues to be rejected with the 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the AGI and e-file again.

If this is also rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.

How can I find my agi for 2018

I am trying to e-file my 2019 income tax return and want to know if I can use my 2017 AGI figures because I just mailed my 2018 tax returns yesterday and when I used 2018 AGI figures to e-file my 2019 tax returns, my filing gets rejected because, they claim, the figures don't match.

How can I find my agi for 2018

No you can not use 2017.  Since you just filed 2018 late (after September) then use 0 zero for the 2018 AGI.  The IRS doesn't have 2018 in their database yet.  If zero doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.
