Delete the Form 1099-G
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen
Click on Tools

Re-enter the Form 1099-G manually. If this was for unemployment compensation -
To enter unemployment compensation
Or enter unemployment in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to unemployment
Yeah I have tried entering the form manually, it still says "needs review" but won't specify WHAT needs review and I don't see anything wrong with the info.

Is that after you deleted it and re-entered?
Yes.

If you have completed your tax returns and there is nothing wrong with your 1099-G entry and this Review is the only thing holding you up for filing, then try this -
Click on File on the left side of the program screen. Go through all 3 Steps in the File section and e-file the tax returns.
If this does not work and the program is still asking you to Review the 1099-G contact TurboTax support for assistance with this problem.
Support is open from 5am to 5pm Pacific time, Monday thru Friday

I am having the same issue. I have tried multiple suggestions:
- Deleting the 1099-G and reentrying it
- Using Google Chrome browser
- Deleting Cookies and Cache, and restarting the computer
- Putting the Payer's TIN in box 10b because the one on my 1099-G is blank.
However, I am still stuck in a loop where the 1099-G needs review and I am not sure what to fix.
If you have no state withholding in box 11 then boxes 10a, 10b & 11 should ALL be BLANK ... clear all the boxes.
I had this problem and after many rechecks that the info I entered was correct, I was able to file by clicking CONTINUE every time it prompted me to review the 1099G. After a few times it stopped asking me to review and I was able to complete my e-file.
I was able to file even though the program still showed the message needs review.
