Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I keep getting an error message when I try to pay for turbotax that they're having trouble authorizing my credit card. It's not a problem with my card. Any ideas?

When I look at my card statement, it says that the amount I'm trying to pay is getting taken out of my account and then refunded instantly.

If you don't have a different card you can try, you'll need to call customer support.  First, however, call your credit card bank to see if they have put a hold on your account or if there is some reason they are denying the charge.

@connorjanet - also, if you call the bank, ask them if they see the transactions being denied.  if they do, it's a problem with your bank / your card.

if they don't see any transactions being denied, it's a problem with Turbo Tax as the transactions never reached the Bank,

Thanks for the help! It turns out they don't seem to like debit cards, even when they're Visa. Worked just fine with a credit card.
