@Tim DeWitt You do not say what you want to purchase--online software or desktop software to download to your own computer? You have added on to someone else's unrelated thread.
Desktop software:

Online software:

You have until October 15, 2019 to e-file a 2018 return. After that, e-filing will shut down and a 2018 return will have to be printed, signed and mailed.

This is the public user forum. No one has any idea what you are talking about. If you are using a paid version of the software, contact customer support with your issue.
Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition. If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there. Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.

I have been trying to log in to my turbo tax account in order to get my 2018 taxes filed. Why does your site continually ask me to pay when I already paid for it? Order # QSTCA128874072 dated November 30, 2019.
Thank you.
You are way too late to e-file your 2018 returns. They have to be printed, signed and mailed. E-filing has been closed since October 15, 2019. If you paid for your software you should be able to print the return for mailing.
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1944348-how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.
If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for filing late. If you owe tax due, then file and pay the amount due as shown on the Form 1040, but expect a bill later from the IRS for the penalty and interest you will owe. Only the IRS will calculate this—TurboTax will not calculate it.

What did you just buy today on November 30, 2019? I assume it was CD/download software. Did you purchase 2018 software or 2019 software?
And what are you trying to do? Are you needing to finish a 2018 online return that you started prior to the October shutdown? Or are you wanting to begin and prepare a 2018 return from scratch in your newly-purchased desktop software?
If you had already started a 2018 return online previously and are needing to unlock it to download the *.tax2018 data file or 2018 PDF, you can't do it until December 4, when Online TurboTax opens again. The normal way to unlock a 2018 online return is to purchase a 2019 online product in PLUS or higher, or desktop software for 2019 (the latter requires a phone call to Support).
A 2018 desktop software purchase won't unlock a locked 2018 return. You could phone TurboTax Support on Monday, tell them of your purchase, and ask them if they will unlock the 2018 return for you. They may not, however, if they insist you buy a 2019 product. In any case, here's how to reach Support on Monday:
You can use the form at the link below to schedule a call back, or it may provide a number. Hours are 5AM-5PM Pacific (8AM-8PM Eastern) Monday-Friday.
Where the form asks what product you are using, be sure in the dropdown menu to indicate "CD/download" and the proper operating system, then indicate which Edition.

You have to sign onto your online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you still cannot access your account, you can contact TurboTax customer service/support through their contact website during business hours.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for a contact link and hours of operation - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3401489
Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent -
Note: The Call option will not be available when TurboTax Support is closed.

This is a local problem, either with your network router or your web browser. Since the TurboTax website is active and available. You may want to reboot your router by unplugging the power cord, wait about a minute and then plug it back in.
Clear cache and cookies on your web browser. Close the browser and then relaunch. Sign onto your TurboTax account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
If the problem persists then change your web browser.
Try a different browser and if you still have problems, check the resource below on how to retrieve your password or user ID:
