I chose the free way to do my taxes, why is it charging me $120 to file them? I dont have $ for that during covid 19

Depending on your situation and forms you have, they sometimes make you pay for services for entering in certain forms in order to finalize filing your taxes

I am sorry you are having to deal with this, you can check the fees that were charged to you by TurboTax by following these steps:

• While in your Tax Home,
• Scroll down to Tax Tools,
• Select Tools,
• Select My Fees.

If you haven't already filed your return, then follow these directions to remove any un-wanted charges:

• Remove PLUS Help & Support
• Remove Pay With Your Refund
• Remove Premium Services Benefits
• Remove MAX Defend & Restore
• Remove a state
• Clear and start over to remove all fees and start from scratch.
