You select a refund method in the File section Step 2.  You cannot file your tax return until you choose a method to pay the TurboTax account fees in the File section Step 1.

 

If you paid for the Deluxe edition and then added a state tax return or some other option, then you have to pay the additional fee for the state tax return or the other options you selected.

 

To review your fees - Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen.  Click on Tools.  Click on My Fees

I wish I could post a screenshot, but I used the app and I paid $80.00 for my federal + CA state return with apple pay. The charge was already on my Wells Fargo account. Now it takes me to step 2 asking me how I am going to pay...I called the help line to cancel my payment or get help but it was utterly useless as the person I was talking to I don’t believe speaks english as a first language. He literally said he cannot help me and to call back ok Monday. Meanwhile my turbotax has my money and I refuse to use another tax service until I am sure I get my $80 refund back.

Sorry, this is one of the very few things where we on this forum cannot offer help.  Any type of billing issue or refund must be handled by TurboTax support.  My suggestion would be to wait until Monday and speak with an agent who can help you with this particular problem.

Support is open from 5am to 9pm, Pacific time, 7 days a week during tax season.
