Your question is not directed to me, but I do want to install Turbo Tax on 2 of my home computers. The reason is because one computer is brand new and will replace my older computer I am currently using in the coming months. I want to download into both computers as I transition from the old to the new.
for the US version of the desktop of TT, it can be installed on 5 computers.
So for the different people in one household can they have their own intuit account on the same key code or does it have to be the same intuit account? Daughter is trying to use the download where I used the CD and it's saying it needs my account to accept the key code on my daughter's computer.

I ended up calling Turbo Tax. I had used the CD that I purchased from Costco to install Turbo Tax on my PC. My daughter wanted to download the program to her Mac while she was using my log in and password for the account. We were unsuccessful. Eventually Turbo Tax had to issue a new Key Code so that she was able to download the program.

Yes, There is a problem if you first installed the CD. It doesn't connect you to an account you can find. You have to call in and ask for the download and a new License Code. Hopefully you get a customer service person who knows about it.

Yes, I was able to. However, there are some other TT software problems. On my one laptop, I need to have the USB stick with a tax return I started earlier, otherwise, it keeps asking me to activate TT over and over again and of course you can't use the same license#.
I'm having trouble installing on more than one computer. I installed it on the first computer from a CD. I need to download it on the second computer.
I then went to InstallTurboTax.com and signed in to my account. When I entered my license number, I received this message:

But I can't get it to show up in Downloads for my account.

Beware, if you need both Windows and Mac versions the "InstallTurboTax.com" website will not allow you to download the other version after you install the software using the CD.
I installed the Windows version and now can't access the Mac one.
If you first installed from the CD it doesn't let you download either of them, Mac or PC. There is a problem. You have to call in and get the download and a new License Code.
