Since your e-filed return has been accepted by the IRS, you will be able to make changes to it. Please see How to amend (change or correct) a return you've already filed for more information.

This is exactly how it is working. I am amending a jointly filed tax return. But I can't do an e-file. I will print my return and send it with a check.  And My spouse will file it as reguar tax return.
