If you are getting emails about paying your TurboTax fees then read the email more carefully to see what it says to you about how to pay.
TURBOTAX TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

Turbo Tax says......
We understand that these are unprecedented times and we’re committed to helping our customers who are experiencing hardships. If you’re in need of assistance, call us by the Tuesday prior to your debit date at 1-888-808-1723 to speak with a trained specialist and mention “auto-debit”, or visit TurboTax Support.
Yes, I saw the multiple options in the email, and they will take me a "Turbo Tax Invoice" page which allows me to pay manually.
However, I was not presented with any form of authentication to get to the Invoice page, which triggered a red flag that it might be fake and an attempt to phish. Every piece of data on this Turbo Tax Invoice page is a piece of data that could have been collected via the innumerable data breaches we've all experienced over the past decade.
So, in order to ensure this page was legit, I wanted to get to it by signing into the homepage, then navigate to it myself. However, I did not see any pathway from the Turbo Tax home page to get to the Turbo Tax Invoice page.
It seems really, really odd that there's no way to get to that Invoice page from within the application.

It's good to be cautious. I don't think payment is integrated well with the direct tax application.
I have two suggestions that will be more secure than clicking a link in email.
First, log directly into your turbotax account online, and make sure you have the padlock icon in the address window that means the connection is secure. Instead of going to the tax application, look at "Intuit Account" at the bottom left and then "products and billing." I don't actually know if your invoice will be there, because I don't use the refund transfer feature myself, but if it is there, it will be secure.
Or, use this secure web site to get a phone number, and call in to make a credit card payment. Use the keyword "account billing". If you see the padlock icon on the web site, you will know the phone number is the legitimate number.
