My question is, I found my 2018 AGI but when I enter it as a requirement in e-mailing my 2019 return it is rejected by Fed taxes agency for being incorrect.
If your tax return continues to be rejected with the 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the AGI and e-file again.
If this is also rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.

how can I get my 2018 agi on line ?
If you completed your taxes using TurboTax, you can use these instructions to get a copy of your 2018 tax return. Your AGI would be on line 7 of form 1040:
1. log into your TurboTax program and find "Your tax returns and documents" on your home page
2. Click the "Show" option
3. Look under "2018" for the option "Download/print return(PDF)"
4. Click on that option to see or download a copy of your 2018 tax return
I need the 2018 AGI to file for 2019
answer was posted right above your question.
You need your 2018 AGI to efile 2019. The AGI is on 2018 1040 line 7. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

my 2018 AGI is being requested by IRS and I don't know where to look for it on the computer copy of forms. I don't have printed copy.
I'm old-please help me. So, if I take the Total Income and subtract the Federal Deductions is that my AGI? Or do I also subtract the taxable income too? to get the IRS the answer they want. My 2019 tax forms were re-jected . They want to know my AGI for 2018. I use Turbo Tax. Is the number Turbo Tax has printed in blue on the correct or is that a "test" by the IRS?

I already checked your article and it doesn't answer my simple question of is the amount of AGI printed in blue on 2019 tax rejection the correct amount of the 2018 Adjusted Gross Income?

No. The rejection only notifies you that the 2018 AGI you entered was not correct.
I mean 2019 taxes, so the aig for 2018
I need current aig for2019, which will be 2018 aig..
You can get a copy of your 2018 tax return, from TurboTax it will have your AGI. Follow these steps to get a copy of your prior-year tax return.
Sign in to TurboTax making sure you're using the same TurboTax account (with the same username) as in prior years.
This link How do I access a prior year return? has additional information that you may find useful
I also need the 2018 AGI to submit my 2019 but since I didn't need to file in 2018. When I filled out 2018 1040 line 7 showed zero. When I use this value in 2019 my submission is rejected. Ideas for what value to use????
