I got a letter CP11 due 8812 error and paid the owed amount. And now, I need to change my 2021 tax return and then amend it (I found a mistake unrelated to that CP11 notice). How can I do it?

Yes, it is okay to use amend/change return for this. Once you've selected amend (change) 2021 return, you can update your return in the program to match the changes that were made by the IRS.
Of course, you won't mail this return for processing, but by making the changes in 2021, the corrected data should be what flows automatically to your 2022 return (but do double check the pertinent entries when preparing your 2022 return just to be certain everything looks as you expect it to.)
See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a 2021 tax return originally completed and filed using TurboTax - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-2021-return/L1gEU4G3X_U...
IRS made the corrections to my tax return, and now I need to make these corrections on my copy of the tax return. It is not "amending", I don't need 1040-X on this. Is it ok to use "Amend (change) 2021 return" for this?

Step 0. make a copy of your .tax20nn file in case you have to start over.
A) open your return for revision. Use the "Add a State" trick to reopen your filed tax return.
B) revise to match the IRS changes.
C) click Save
D) click "Amend"
E) make your new change.
your 1040-X column A will show original amounts "or as adjusted by IRS", which is what you want.
