How to delete my information on turbotax? I took my tax info to someone else to efile and they use turbotax software.so when they efiled it. A rejection code 517-01 was sent. I don't want to start over just erase.
If you've already registered, paid your TurboTax fees or e-filed, you won't be able to delete your tax return. If you haven't done either of these, please refer to the following Help Article to clear and start over: How do I clear and start over in TurboTax Online?
I dont want to start over. Since I took it to someone else to efile I was just gonna use that and delete the one that I started on turbotax.
You don't have to start over; however, the Clear and Start Over feature will allow you to clear out your tax return (as long as you haven't registered or paid your TurboTax fees).

For TurboTax Deluxe Download this is not intuitive. However, there is a link labeled "Find a Tax File" below and just to the right of where you click to "Continue Your Return". If you click on this it will search for a .Tax2021 file - Use the dropdown to change to "All Files" and browse to your .Tax2020 file (usually in your TurboTax directory) Click on this file and allow TurboTax to transfer your prior year information when you open your return. It also clears/resets any data you have entered - ALL DATA will need to be re-entered. Note, for 2020 the file may be in a folder called "New Folder". I found this incidentally - hope it helps

I have paid for turbotax premier for mac download version but not yet filed my return. Can I delete and start over from this point?
