How does a dependent delete their Form 1095A?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Here are the steps for deleting unwanted forms in TurboTax Online:
Open your return in TurboTax. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax, and select the Take me to my return button.)
In the left side bar, select Tax Tools> Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions.
The 1095-A form is not showing up with all of the other forms to delete.
Is is showing in your return? Did you delete a form connected to the 1095A?
I am not seeing the 1095-A form in the list of items to delete in the Federal side.
See it for state but not on the Federal side, Please advise. Thanks

I am also experiencing this problem and am unable to find it in the list of forms to delete. I accidentally clicked yes to a 1095-A instead of a 1095-C. It keeps asking for my SSN and I cannot finish my filing until I delete this form.

same as windows except step 6, use delete on keyboard
The correct answer is given above . . . go to the Federal Section, Deductions and Credits, Medical, find the question about whether you've been sent a 1095-A, and change it to no. The other "Here's how you delete a form" answers are from lazy people who didn't bother to read the responses already given, from people who correctly point out that the form does not show up in the list of forms to be deleted.
Did that I don’t see under delete not showing federal or state then I went 1095a and I click no still give me problem
Same issue, and I have tried to fix it and it changed it back to yes even if I select no
@MaryK4 your link is no good
It’s doing the same thing for me and kicking back my taxes. I didn’t have this insurance! Turbo tax told me their is no glitch in their system but there has to be
Did you get it figured out!
When revisiting the section the default answer is still set to yes but the 8962 and 1095A are not part of the return.
If you select Yes you will be prompted to enter the 1095A information and you cannot continue leaving the full form blank as an error will be presented.
Now you will not be prompted with the yes/no question to receiving the 1095A and will see your entry with options to edit/delete the entry.
Delete the 1095A entry and both the 1095A and 8962 are removed from the return.
If you revisit the section again default will be yes but the forms are removed
Now, select No, e-file your return, and if you are rejected, then the IRS requires your 1095A in the return (see above help article).
