Has anyone been able to get an itemized receipt from TurboTax? I’m applying for a mortgage and need to verify why the deposit differs from what my IRS statement says.

What is an itemized receipt?  You should have received an email showing how much TurboTax charged to use the software to prepare and file your taxes.  Are you referring to some other kind of receipt?

I did not get this and need it.  I record confirmation that my taxes were submitted, but nothing outlining the breakdown of charges unless buried in the 35 pages of my tax return download, which is not practical

Thanks, my morgage company wants the direct deposit receipt or breakdown showing the charges and the amount being deposit into my account, the numbers gotta match..

I have not been able to acquire this statement and was told it was emailed to me, haven't found it, and I keep everything.  Said it was in my tax return, guess what, there is no file page for federal in my tax return pdf from TT/Intuit. This is the only thing holding up my mortgage being finalized and getting to close.

What now?  I have tried chatting with help, that was not fruitful. Just helped me find all of the docs I had already found on my own.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on View order details

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and in the column on the bottom left click on Intuit Account

Then click on Products and Billing

Then click on the blue highlighted link Look up a charge

Google the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group phone number and see if they can give you the receipt that you need.   They are the company that creates the receipt after they get your refund and deduct fees.  A TurboTax agent can go into their system and see the receipt but may not be authorized to send it to you.  Worth a try if all other suggestionss fail.
