I have a id number from the IRS I have to use and it is 6 digits.
The ID space you provide to file is only five and it keeps refusing to file my return. ??????
The 6 digit pin is the IP Pin (Identity Protection). TurboTax asks for that in a different place. To enter it, do:
The place asking for the 5 digit pin is last year's e-file pin. If you don't know what it was, then you will have to give your AGI (Adjusted Gross Income) from 2018.

If you filed, it is like dropping it into a mailbox - you cannot get it back.
You'll have to wait until your return is either accepted or rejected.

I was rejected saying the id number is not accepted.
Are you saying that a Social Security number on the return was rejected? Was it used on another tax return?
What reject code did you receive?
