There are no federal filing instructions printing or available to print in any of the forms or worksheets. I do not need to know how to print them - I would like to know why they are not available to print? The state filing instructions are printing fine, but not the federal ones.
Thanks!

After Step 5, it says, "If you just need the mailing address: See the filing instructions document that prints out with the paper copy of your return. You'll see the address in those instructions. For your federal return, you can also look it up at this IRS website." The filing instructions are within that portion.
Yes, I know that I can look up the address on the IRS website, but I would like the filing instructions to print that usually print with my Turbotax prepared returns. The instruction page for where to file and how much your refund/balance due is printing fine with my state return - but when I print the Federal return the first page is page 1 of the 1040 - not the filing instructions that usually prints. Are other people getting the filing instructions to print or is it a problem with Turbotax?
Thanks

Use this procedure to get a complete print out of your federal tax return to include Filing Instructions -
Sign onto your TurboTax online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down and click on Add a State. This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.
I am using a downloaded version of Turbotax Business and State and I am following the printing instructions to get the Federal return along with supporting forms etc. No filing instructions are printing with the return and I would like the filing instructions that should be printing but are not. I am wondering why they are not printing?

Using the desktop editions - Click on File. Click on Print/Save for Your Records. Click on Print. On the Form Selection window the option for Forms to review or keep for your records should be pre-selected. The Filing Instructions page is shown as one of the forms to print.
Federal instructions are not being created to print. This is the download version. Same problem, last 2 filing years. How about a real solution,

The instructions I provided were for the desktop editions on a Windows OS PC. I have printed multiple Filing Instruction pages for 2019 and prior tax years using the Premier desktop editions.
What edition are you using and which OS are you using?
I am having the identical problem. State instructions print out as a part of the filing document, but the Federal Return does not provide the same summary sheet. I am on a MacBook Pro using the most current operating system.
This doesn't actually seem to solve my issue. If I to to File/Print and pick Selected Forms where I can pick the forms to print, then there is "Filing Instructions" entry beneath my state return, but not beneath my Federal returns. I tried picking the "Returns for your filing" and "Returns for your Records" options and neither of these have filing instructions either.

After you clicked on Print, save or preview this year's return the following screen asks Let us know what you'd like to print or download. You select Federal and State. The Filing Instruction page is shown for the Federal tax return.
@bschmitzfamily, I'm on a Mac and it works a little differently there. I think there is a bug. If I pick "Selected Forms" where you can pick from all of the forms, the "Filing Instructions" form is missing. Normally it is the first form listed beneath the Federal Tax Return group:
Note that it does show beneath the state return group if I scroll down in this window:
When you bring up the forms mode, you should see an option for "Open Form." If you click on that option, you should be able to type in "Filing Instructions" that should bring up an option to display the filing instructions.
@ThomasM125 - Thanks. I was able to open it up in forms mode. I didn't even know there was a forms mode. I still think that this should print out when I select File by mail and select "Print my federal return to file by mail now."
