Federal Filing Instructions

I have read all the reply's regarding the federal filing instruction sheet not being generated although the state filing instruction sheet is there.  I am  on a mac, latest version.  I have this problem with an added quirk! Prepared my families returns.  Some owe and some don't.  All instruction sheets were generated except one.    The version of Turbo Tax I am using is Home/Business.  This is the first year this has happened.  I have tried every suggestion to no avail.

It would be really nice if this could be FIXED.

My federal 1040-SR print out is NOT printing out the instruction sheet along with the address to send for my refund but as stated it is doing this for the state....

What is the reason Turbo would now exclude this from the federal but include it with the state print outs???

Same situation -- on a Mac, latest OS + latest TurboTax, completed 3 returns, one online (don't care about instructions), and of the other two, one printed instructions (payment was due) and the other didn't (refund). Perhaps that's the difference??

Shocking to read that this has been going on for (at least) 2 years. Figure it out, Intuit!

Thanks, this worked for me.  Now I have the filing instructions for both Federal & State returns.  You can have all the forms or just the brief list.  Can also do Fed and State individually.

Use this procedure -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.

You lost me when referring to "land on the Tax Home web page".  I'm not seeing anything like that when I sign in

The Filing Instructions page is included with the tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
