I just filed today in NC I’m having the same issue with tramissions not available yet how long will this take to fix I thought filling on line was supposed to be helpful and quick
The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing. It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
Go to this TurboTax website for North Carolina state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html
If you want to e-file your federal tax return now then change how you file the NC state return. This assumes that all of the forms and schedules included in your federal tax return are available for e-filing.
If using the TurboTax online editions click on File on the left side of the online program screen. On Step 3 of the File section click on Start or Revisit. Select the button File by Mail. Then change the filing status of the state return.
After the federal return is e-filed and accepted by the IRS you can e-file the state return when it is available for e-filing. Just use the same procedure and change the state return back to e-filing.
I’m filing North Carolina and have the same error when trying to sign my returns: “Tax Year 2021 transmissions are not available.”
It keeps saying my e-file didn't go through transmission not available
Same problem for me filing with NC. Federal went through once I removed the State filing. Frustrating!
yep...in NC...same transmission error message Feb 12 2022 (TY 21)....TTx says no updates needed...NC finally released their Tax For D-400....in 36 years using TTx i've never encountered a problem...this is a first
same error message received with trying to file both Fed and NC tax 2021 forms...buggers....in 36 years of using TTx ive never had a problem....today Sat 2/12/2022

Getting the same error message, but I am not seeing a way to isolate federal from state. Located in NC. Need an update on this, Turbotax. Not happy as I've already been charged.

There is a small radio button on the filing page that you can select to file NC state at a later time…I did this today….NC is not ready to efile till Feb 24 apparently…. Filed the Fed with no problem
Same issue here in NC
Many thanks for the NC link 🖖🖖🙏🏌️♂️
