my bank account information is missing a number and my tax return is not showing on the website as being filed so I can't make the change. I need help.

For 2020?   If you efiled you can't get it back, it will be pending until the IRS opens in late January or later.  Then if they reject your efile you can fix it and resend it.  But if they accept it you can not change it.  If the bank rejects the deposit the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return.

I'm having a real problem with Intuit, I purchased my Turbotax CD from Costco (Store located in Manassas, VA) because it is easier to use the CD then to download the software.  I tried that with my 2019 return and it was  not easy or cheap.  I did a check of the charges on my Visa account and discovered that Intuit had again charged my Visa for the software to do my 2020 tax return.  Intuit charged my credit card for TURBOTAX ($110.00) on November 5th. 2020.  Now Intuit wants to charge me for the third time to get my 2020 taxes done.  I need to talk to a person that can explain what Intuit is attempting to achieve with this practice. First of all you need to update your advantage auto renew account.  You can either delete it or sign up for the CD instead of the download.

 

You can sign into your Turbo Tax Advantage account and under Your Product, select to Remove Product.  Once you remove the recurring product order, the Turbo Tax Advantage subscription will be cancelled as well.

Now it sounds like you may have used the Online web version instead of the Desktop CD/Download program installed on your computer.  You can move your online return to the Desktop program without paying for online.

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).

 

You should try to get a refund for one of the Desktop programs.  Why did you buy it again from Costco?
