That's not clear, but could you perhaps be in the wrong forum?? Are you wanting to ask something in regard to USA TurboTax or Canada TurboTax? You're posting in the USA TurboTax community forum. You mentioned "need to file my taxes for last year." Need to file them where--US tax return or Canadian tax return?
If you don't have a question about USA TurboTax, here's how to get to the Canadian TurboTax support.

Irs says tax return was sent on April 8,2026. Still not seeing it. Where is my refund. Turbo tax isn’t showing any updates
@Denneyr1437 Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

The irs sent my return to my bank on April 2nd. The bank said they never reciexed it. I have tried to call the irs to track it but never get an answer because of the overload of calls they have. Is there anyway you can get the tracking number or is it still with you ?
Unfortunately, no. TurboTax does not have any access to your return once the IRS accepts it. Double-check Form 1040 (at the bottom of page 2) to ensure the routing and account numbers you provided are correct.
You can initiate a refund trace since it has been more than 5 days.
If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your refund, your money is first sent to an intermediary bank (such as SBTPG). You can check the status of your funds through the SBTPG Taxpayer Portal to see if the money is held there. See more. @wellsjanene

This is mainly a user community forum. No one here can look up anything account-specific.
Since you said "is it still with you (TurboTax)", that implies to me that you may be expecting there to be another link in the chain. Is one of the following what you are experiencing?
If you used an option that uses a third-party intermediary bank, the IRS doesn't send it to your bank and doesn't send it to TurboTax per se. The IRS would send it to the third-party bank that handles the particular offer. "Which" third-party bank depends on what option you chose. Did you use any of these offers: "pay fees with your refund", the "up to 5 days early" offer, or Refund Advance?
As an example, one of the more common situations is when someone chooses to "pay fees out of refund."
If you chose that payment method, the most common situation would be for the IRS to send the refund to a third party company called SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group), and their bank (often Green Dot Bank) would take out the product fees, and then send the rest to your bank. IF you chose that payment method, you can check at the SBTPG website using their refund tracker tool. To log in, choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/
However, it becomes more complicated if you chose the "Up to 5 days early" offer, since that offer involves either the third-party bank Cross River Bank or MVB Bank Inc. (the latter if a Credit Karma account is involved.)
I don't know what tracking number you refer to, but we can't use it in this user forum anyway, so don't post any personal info here in this public Internet forum. If you can't figure out what bank it went to based on the type of offer, the IRS should be able to tell you "which bank" they sent the funds to. If they didn't send it directly to your bank, then it would likely be SBTPG's bank (often Green Dot), or Cross River Bank, or MVB Bank Inc.
"I have tried to call the irs to track it but never get an answer because of the overload of calls they have."
I have found that the best time to reach the IRS is around 7:30 AM (the early first-callers rush has dropped off a bit by then) or 6:50 PM just before they close.. If you get in the queue just before 7 PM, they will continue to assist even past 7 PM, and IMO fewer people call right before closing thinking they will be cut off (which they won't.) Mondays are the worst. It's better later in the week such as Tuesday to Thursday.
When a robot tries to triage your call, say something like "speak to an agent about my account." You may have to say it more than once regardless of what it asks before it gives up and transfers you.
