i am having the same issue. Tried to manually update but it says program is not installed.

Tried that did not work. also tried uninstall and reinstall. there is a bug in the software that intuit must fix as many people are having same issue.

I bought this software so I could Electronically file 5 returns not so I could print them and mail them. If this does not get solved I will not be buying turbo tax next year that is for sure.
I am sorry you are having a problem with this. You can have this problem when the program does not interact properly with your computer. The recommended solution is to first clear the cache on your computer as follows:

You may need to reboot your computer after you clear the cache.
If that doesn't work, you should load up another web browser on your computer.
If you still have trouble, you can try loading the program on another computer if you have one available.
