I got a 1099 Misc from my Pension Employer. First off my Review keeps getting kicked out because the address on my 1099 for the employer is simply:" North Castle Drive" and Turbo tax won't accept that as a acceptable address even though that is exactly on the 1099 misc form. NEXT the 1099 misc was for a reimbursement of $500.00 for what they call a Life Planning Acct Reimb, where IBM has us fill out a form showing the amount we paid in LTC insur for my wife and I last year, and as a benefit they graciously reimburse us the $500, to help us pay for our LTC Insur premiums for the year. It has nothing to do with a business income, therefore all the questions I have to answer about a "Business" income are moot. there are question I "MUST" answer or my 1099 misc gets kicked out on the review. Because I can't answer the questions because they are moot, it keeps telling me that I must file by mail. Something is bad wrong and there is not way to give Turbo tax what they want in regards to this 1099 misc. VERY VERY frustrating with all the ??? about this 1099 that have absolutely nothing to do with this $500 reimb I received from IBM to help me pay my LTC payments! Any help appreciated. HOW do I talk to someone about this?????

LTC insurance from IBM is considered income (but not Self Employment income) and is taxable. Here is how I have always entered it and never had a problem E-Filing. I have not -EFiled this year, but unless something has changed, just answer the questions as follows. The answers to these questions are not transmitted to the IRS, just used by turbo tax to determine if it is self -employment income
Remember that the answers are NOT sent to the IRS, just a way for turbo tax to enter it correctly on the 1040
The $500 will show up on schedule 1 line 8 and then transfer to line 7a on the 1040.
My bet is, that $500 you got back from the company is actually considered by Uncle Sam, as INCOME. It's not unlike the mileage points you might get on your personal account when the company buys you a plane ticket to go do company business. In truth, those are "income" to you, too. You may want to call IRS directly, or go on IRS.GOV and see what they say.
