I am eligible yes because i have filed my 2018 tax return but since i owe back child support they lifted this money from me apparently I must of not deserved this money when i am paying my current child support and my back support(because i was without a job for 3 years) I guess they think I am deadbeat dad and said you know what "this **bleep** owes back support..he don't and deserve this stimulus" When i could of used this money because my current wife lost her job and we are struggling during this pandemic. Nooooo we're good over here. Now my ex-wife gets my 1200$ gets my 700$ a month for current child support and she makes 100K/yr. Meanwhile everyone out there who owes thousands of $$$$ in back taxes got their money?? I mean this is the direct agency distributing these stimulus checks and they're ok with you owing a ton of $$ in taxes but "not ok" with someone who fell on hard times and couldnt afford his support for a few years and now is on the way to paying it back?? Thanks IRS for the help.
@WilliamJCalderone24 You are blaming the IRS for your problem? Congress passed the law that way. You want to complain about tax laws? Complain to Congress.
The IRS is committed to helping you get your Economic Impact Payment as soon as possible. The payments, also referred to by some as stimulus payments, are automatic for most taxpayers. No further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees.
Use "Get My Payment" to:
Use the "Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here" application if you are eligible for an Economic Impact Payment and:

My husband and I never received a stimulus check. Are we eligible with a 2018 AGI of $199, 950?
The IRS can look at your 2018 or 2019 return to issue a stimulus check. If they do not have a 2018 return then you may be waiting for them to finish processing 2019 before they will be able to use it to issue your stimulus check.
If you used the non-filer site, you will not be able to e-file a 2019 return after using the non-filer site.
TurboTax has no control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it for you or tell you when the IRS will issue it. Refer to the sites linked below:
You can call the IRS hotline at 1-800-919-9835 to get updates on your stimulus payment.

If you made over $150,00 in 2018 or 2019, you are not eligible.
A1. U.S. citizens and U.S. resident aliens will receive the Economic Impact Payment of $1,200 or $2,400 if they filed married filing jointly and if they are not a dependent of another taxpayer and have a work eligible Social Security number with adjusted gross income up to:
Taxpayers will receive a 5% reduction in their payment for the amount their AGI is above these amounts.
Eligible retirees and recipients of Social Security retirement, survivor, or disability benefits (SSDI), Railroad Retirement benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and VA Compensation and Pension (C&P), who do not file a tax return, will receive a $1,200 payment automatically.
These benefit recipients should refer to the Social Security, Railroad Retirement and Department of Veteran Affairs benefit recipients section of the FAQs for additional information.
For eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for 2019 or 2018, they receive the payments automatically.
For people who have little or no income and didn’t file a tax return or don’t receive any of the federal benefits listed above, they are also eligible for an Economic Impact Payment. They need to register with the Non-Filer tool on IRS.gov as soon as possible so they can receive a payment.

we did not get a stimulus the last time. Not good. My husband was alive during this time. He died in November. Can you check on this?
Unfortunately TurboTax does not have this information but you can look up your individual status here: Get my Payment tool.
Taxpayers who do not receive payments based on data on file for 2018 or 2019 can still apply for the credit when they file their 2020 tax return in 2021.
