2022 Turbotax Form 8915F-T - Cannot e-file

So I have been checking a couple of times a week to see when Form 8915F-T will be available in the 2022 desktop version.  The software has consistently been saying that this form will be available to file by mail and e-file on 02/16/2023.  All good.

Today the software says available to file by mail on 02/16/2023, but now says "Cannot e-file."  This form and it's variants were able to be e-filed in TY 2021 and TY 2020.

Does anyone know more about this?  Will we be unable to e-file for TY 2022 if we need to use this form?

Very frustrating!  I just spent an hour on the phone with Turbo Tax and no resolution.  It appears that Turbo Tax is incorrectly filling out form 8915-F by inputting "COVID-19" in line C-1 when in fact it should be left blank if the distribution was COVID related.

TurboTax has offered no resolution, escalation, or next steps - other than "print and mail in the return and the IRS will fix the mistake".  Really?

You can't manually edit the form to remove that entry?

The fact that at least one says N/A and others say Coronavirus and others don't have any input on line 3 leads me to believe that there is some input question somewhere in the process of the software walking you through the filing process that is resulting in that input being entered.  Mine didn't have anything entered on line 3 and I didn't have to do anything to remove it.  I also don't remember answering anything specific about that form. Maybe depending on what options you answer yes or no to there is some logic that prompts for a question that creates that line 3 entry.  The fact that it's not the same on all forms means it's coming from somewhere.

Did you start your return before the software update yesterday or after?  Curious, because for now my theory is that it is affecting returns that were started prior to the software being fully updated.
