I need to complete my turbo tax but get statedment saying this guidance in Turbo tax is not ready yet.
It was working but it seems that the 4/22 update broke the interview. Call customer support and report it.
There is no single published number because it changes contently depending on the nature of the call and agent availability. Following the link below will either give a current number for you to call or take your number for a callback.
(Note that phone support is for paying customers only. There is no phone support for Free Customers.)
Here is a TurboTax FAQ for contacting customer support.

I successfully submitted a qualified disaster distribution last year for COVID related distribution but this year it says the IRS has not given instructions for disaster distribution in time for this release. Am I doing something wrong? How could the instructions be out last year but not this year?
No you are not doing anything wrong. There is a different form this year; form 8915-F. The IRS recently released the new form and software companies now have to get that new form into their software updates. TurboTax is estimating 3/31 for the form 8915-F to be available. Here is a link to monitor for forms availability.
So what does that mean when I'm trying to e-file my taxes today 3/5. I can't file yet?
I see it must be shocking but if the required form is not ready yet, you must wait for it.
The date for the 8915-F has been moved up form 3/31 to 3/24.
@DMarkM1 This is helpful! Thank you for providing the link.
Thanks for this info!
Me too, I am having the same problem until today March 9, 2022.
I can't file because I checked that I received my Covid relief checks. So I tried unchecking it, and I still can't file. Please help.
I am trying to do my second-year entry for a 100k early distribution due to Covid. The only 1099-R I have is 2020, where I took the initial distribution. So I looked at my 2020 tax file, and It correctly did the calculations.
Do I have to enter 2020 1099-R into my 2021 Taxes to do this? I am also getting the "We don't have the blah blah blah" to do this.
I know the form is in pre-publication states, but I want to get my taxes done before I leave on a trip, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Any Idea when Intuit will fix this? Does anyone have a phone number I call and tell Intuit about this issue to add my voice to the chorus currently seeking help?
Thanks
@jkgibb No you do not enter your 2020 Form 1099-R in the 2021 tax return. You will need to report 1/3 of the three year 2020 distribution spread on the IRS Form 8915-F.
Form 8915-F, Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Retirements is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on 03/24/2022
So I guess I’ll have to stew until it gets here. This is frustrating I was hoping to get these finished so there would be more domestic bliss at home.
thanks
do you have any idea when this will be updated so I can get my taxes filed?
