I'm sure you mean employ*ER* address and not employ*EE* address. The military member will need to contact their local base finance office for this. (I suspect a mis-print, which is not at all uncommon with military W-2's)
On the tax return, in the My Info section of the TurboTax program, you enter the address for where he would receive his mail and where the IRS could contact him by mail if there was ever a need. The address on the W-2 does not have to be the same address that is entered on his tax return. So the address on the W-2 in TurboTax should be the same address that is on his tax return.
Were you able to figure this out? We’re having this issue this year on my husband’s W2.
The employee address entered in TurboTax should be the address where your husband receives mail. In the "My Info" section enter his current address which is the address he wishes any correspondence from the IRS to go to. That address should carry through to the "Employee" address on any forms entered. If the W2 was imported and the address is incorrect you can make the correction by editing the W2 entries in the "Wages & Income" section.
