No Income - Need to File?

My daughter had income in 2019 but none in 2020 (a student). Does she need to file? If not required, is it advisable to file? I believe she will have income in 2021.

If she had no income in 2020 she has no reason to file a tax return.

No, if she didn't have income in 2020 then she is not required to file.
