We got $3400 for my husband, myself, and two children aged 10 and 12, but we also have a daughter that turned 17 in Dec. I thought it would count her, but maybe it didn't? It's not a huge deal - I'm happy with the $3400, but I was hoping to give that $500 to her. It sounds like a lot of people have had errors. Will there be something we can do to appeal?
They have to be UNDER 17 on Dec 31 to get the 500.

Sorry, but a child must be *under* age 17 to qualify (no older that 16 on December 31, 2019) - same as the child tax credit.
Hello my stimulus check is wrong i have 2 kids who are my dependants and I only recieved 1200
My daughter turned 17 in 2019 and we claimed her as a dependent on our 2019 return. Shouldn’t we be getting $500 for her?

No. She was older than 16 in 2019 so was not eligible for the Child Tax Credit.
We have a family of 5 and I did not receive a stimulus for my 3 children all who were born before 2015 and who have been claimed on all of our taxes. We did our taxes back in February this year and received a small refund.
Okay Thank you.
I got an odd amount too -- about $1887 and change. I was entitled to $2400. What's the deal??
Same problem here! I filed for 2 adults and 1 child who is 7 months old and only got $2,400. There are a lot of errors across the board it looks like! I’m wondering if these issues are only clients of TurboTax or if it doesn’t matter who you went through for taxes. If anyone finds a way to resolve this, I would love to know, thank you!
My check is wrong as well. I just heard that all depends claimed on tax returns you should receive credit for and I have 3 dependents and only received for 2. So who do we contact about this? Is there an email or phone number
Your links don't explain getting an odd amount ($1887.73) when the AGI on the 2019 tax return was under $150k for married filing jointly. How do we redress the error and what explains the amount not being a whole number?

https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payment-information-center
For security reasons, the IRS plans to mail a letter about the economic impact payment to the taxpayer’s last known address within 15 days after the payment is paid. The letter will provide information on how the payment was made and how to report any failure to receive the payment.
17 and over don't get it
We also are well within the income limit and have three dependents that I’ve been claimed for over three years and our check was $500 short, my friends was also $500 short with two dependents that she has had for several years.
