We also are well within the income limit and have three dependents that I’ve been claimed for over three years and our check was $500 short, my friends was also $500 short with two dependents that she has had for several years.

For security reasons, the IRS plans to mail a letter about the economic impact payment to the taxpayer’s last known address within 15 days after the payment is paid. The letter will provide information on how the payment was made and how to report any failure to receive the payment.
Mine check was wrong to according to requirements I should’ve received 2200 but I only received 1700
Same here. I am single with two children I received taxes for both kids for the year 2018 and 2019. I only received 1700 instead of 2400. I am in the bracket where I should get full amount. I have read that we should receive a letter in the mail a week or two after receiving the deposit. I’m hoping that will have some sort of explanation on the stimulus amount.
same situation for me. second child born in 2019. I suspect the answer is that they used the 2018 information to determine our check.
Thank you! I'll look forward to getting that letter. Do you have any guess as to why the number was so odd?
I have the same issue! I only received $1200 but not the additional $500 for my 9 year old daughter! What can we do or who can we call to fix this? Yes I claimed her on my taxes!
Same here. My sister and I both file the same single with two kids under the age of 17 and below 75,000 a year. She received her 2200 but I only received 1700.
I do not owe money and still did not receive the correct amount
I filed my 2019 taxes witch which included my child that was born in December of 2019. But I did not receive the tax credit for my child born in December 2019 how do I contact the IRS about this
Did you fing any answers this is awful
I have three children under the age of 16, and I fall well within the income guidelines, I only recieved $1,200, there is no one to speak to, what now?
Ya - me too. I received $45.30 today based on my 2018 return instead of the $2200 I should have based on my 2019 return.. how do I get this fixed?
We were expecting $3900 (my wife and I + 3 kids) but received $2900. I'm grateful for that but would like the correct amount. Not sure who to contact.
Received ours yesterday and it didn’t account for my son who was born last September. 2019 taxes were filed in March prior to the stimulus budget being passed too. IRS doesn’t have any current info on how this is to be resolved down the road.
