You did not move until 2023 so on your 2022 tax return you would NOT indicate you moved.
The address on your Form 1040 needs to be your current address so that the IRS knows where to send mail to you.

But in My Info when you prepare your tax return make sure you use your new and current address so that anything the IRS mails to you goes to the correct address.
Hello DoninGA,
I am also worried the same as the below comment by xmasbaby0

If I use the old address, will my tax return (physical check) go to the old address?

On your tax return you enter the address where you receive your mail and where the IRS can contact you by mail if ever necessary. If you request to have a refund check mailed to you the IRS uses the address on your tax return. A refund check cannot be forwarded so if the address on the return is incorrect the refund check is returned to the IRS.
Your question concerning Moved refers to the whether you will need to file a different state tax return if you moved out state.
Yes! So enter your new address or wherever you want to get any refund checks or letters from the IRS or state. I think you are asking about those life changes boxes at the beginning? Those are not important and don't affect your return. Just general questions so you don't miss entering something.
