KI need to file a paper return it is supposed to be free i already paid Turbo tax and they said it would cost nothing to print out my 1040 plus attachments

'It is supposed to be free..."     You are posting from the expensive online TurboTax Live Deluxe--it is not free.  Did you stray into it without noticing the screens telling you that you were upgrading?  Have you used the services of a live expert/CPA?

Is there a chance that you qualify to use the Freedom Edition?  (also called Free File)

 If you qualify, there is another free software program available from TurboTax which will allow you to enter self-employment income.

You qualify if your income was $34,000 or less, or $66,000 or less if active duty military, or if you qualify for Earned Income Credit

Making the change to the Free File (also called Freedom Edition) means you have to use a different account and different user ID and start over.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
