An email from whom?
Whatever you do DO NOT click on any links in the email. The email might be a scam.
You should delete the email and forget about it. Whoever sent it is trying to either scam you or sell you something.

Did you happen to purchase PLUS upgrade, MAX Benefits, or Premium Services Bundle (California residents)?
Those products include identity theft monitoring as well as other benefits. I think the identity services are provided by IDnotify, which is part of Experian.
FAQ: Who is IDnotify and what is their relationship to TurboTax?
We have no way of knowing in a user forum if your email is legitimate or not. So don't click on any links or download any attachments, but if you have one of those add-on packages above, contact IDnotify directly at their regular business phone number for any assistance. There's a "Contact" link at:
I also just received this email. It looks somewhat scammy. Did you ever find a solution?
Hi, Not really. I actually assumed it was a scam of sorts so I deleted the email. I had several people respond but the all just stated what I already knew, and that was not to click on the links in the email.
I did but the message was pretty vague so I am still not clicking on the link.
thank you all for your input. It was much appreciated.
Has anybody ever figured this out? The email came from noreply at mail .idnotify. com
I received the same email from [email address removed] except it was regarding my email address instead of my phone #. I believe this is a marketing tactic to purchase the monthly subscription because when I logged into my account, I was immediately directed to a payment plan to purchase the “ID protection” monthly subscription. I would just disregard…
i think the appropriate steps are as follows
First of all , log on to TurboTax. But not on the link from the email. Go to TurboTax.com. Sign in and verify all seems to be fine and no messages suggesting any issues with your account. Once that is verified
1. forward the email to spoof@intuit.com
2. categorize the email as spam and/or delete the message
I did this and also agreed to unsubscribe from ID Notify when it came up
I got the same email, so I signed in to Turbo Tax manually—only to be told to click on the link in the email. I can't find a way to log in from the Turbo Tax website. I am NOT clicking on the email link (I fell for that once!), so not sure what to do. Any updates or further information?
IDnotify <[email address removed]>
The link in the body of the email shows https://sso.identitymanagementcenter.com:443 etc.
It's a good idea to report the email using the following link: Report a fake email (or phishing).
In addition, the Federal Trade Commission offers advice for this type of situation: Did you get an email saying your personal info is for sale on the dark web? (ftc.gov)
