To complete your 2023 tax return, you will need to download the 2023 tax software.  Please see how do I finish a prior-year return that I started in TurboTax Online for guidance.

Once you have completed your prior year return, you can prepare your 2024 income tax return.

When you finish doing 2023 in the Desktop program you will be able to transfer the .tax2023 file 

into the 2024 Online version or the Desktop program.  You will have to print and mail 2023.  You can efile 2024 until Oct 15.   When you efile 2024 you need to enter 0 for the 2023 AGI since you are filing 2023 late.
